Sourdough Country Bread- Wednesday delivery/pickup

This bread is a crusty sourdough with a touch of whole grain rye. It’s creation is a three day long labor of love from beginning to end.

First, the organic Rye berries are ground into the flavorful flour that gives this loaf it's characteristic sweetness. Next, the starter is added to the dough and left to ferment on the counter to gain aeration and liveliness. The final step before baking is an overnight cold fermentation that gives the loaf it's deep complexity of flavor.
